was issued by the Central Bank of Lebanon (Banque du Liban) starting August 1, 1963, marking a continuation of Lebanon's new monetary era.
Around 100 million notes were printed across 10 different issues from 1964 to 1988.
Its back side features an illustration of the Tripoli Citadel, reflecting Lebanon's northern heritage, historical fortifications, and centuries of cultural significance.
