was issued by the Central Bank of Lebanon (Banque du Liban) Starting August 1, 1963, marking a continuation of Lebanon's new monetary era.

Around 90 million notes were printed across 9 different issues from 1964 to 1986.

Its front side depicts the historic Anjar Citadel, a symbol of Lebanon's rich Umayyad heritage and architectural legacy, surrounded by the beauty of the Bekaa Valley.
