تم إصدار الليرة اللبنانية كعملة معدنية لأول مرة عام 1968، مع ما يُعرف بليرة “الفواكه”، التي تميزت بتصميم فريد يختلف عن باقي إصدارات الليرة. لاحقًا، في عام 1980، صدرت “ليرة الأولمبياد” أيضاً بشكل مميز وفريد من نوعه.

أما الليرة المعروضة هنا، فقد تم إصدارها بنفس التصميم عبر خمس سنوات مختلفة:

1975، 1977، 1980، 1981، و1986.

وقد صُنعت جميعها من النيكل، بقطر 27.3 ملم، ووزن 7 غرامات.

The Lebanese lira was first issued as a coin in 1968 with the so-called “Fruit Lira,” which stood out with a unique design different from all other lira coins. Later, in 1980, the “Olympic Lira” was also released with a distinct and unique appearance.

The lira shown here, however, was issued with the same design across five different years:

1975, 1977, 1980, 1981, and 1986.

All were made of nickel, with a diameter of 27.3 mm and a weight of 7 grams.
